Pediatric Neurosonogram
Indications & Procedure
What is a Pediatric Neurosonogram?
A Pediatric Neurosonogram is a safe, ultrasound-based scan used to examine a baby’s brain. It is mainly performed in newborns and infants, where the soft spot on the head (fontanelle) allows sound waves to pass through and create detailed images of the brain structures.
This test is non-invasive, painless, and radiation-free.
